Art Matters

I am off today to make my presentation at Art Matters -- with the Governor General in attendance, no less. Kinda cool, huh? :)

I leave you with a quote from theologian and author, Frederick Buechner:

Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it because in the last analysis all moments are key moments and life itself is grace.

Buechner also said about grace: God said when you were born: This is your life. You might not have been born but you were and the party would not have been complete without you.

Live in the spirit of grace filling your day. Enjoy your party!

Namest.

I know you'll make a fabulous presentation. It is cool that the Governor General will be there to hear you. Politicians need to hear your words. Art does matter!

I've always liked quotes from Buechner. Thank you for this one.

Hugs.
